Who We Help

We care for children, teens, and adults (age 5 and up) who are living with:

  • Anxiety, depression, and mood changes that are not letting up

  • ADHD, OCD, panic, or trouble focusing and following through

  • Bipolar disorder, psychosis, or schizophrenia

  • PTSD, sleep difficulty, or stress that is taking a toll

  • Substance use and co-occurring mental health conditions

  • And more

If you are unsure whether we can help, reach out and ask. You do not need a diagnosis to start.

How We Help

Our care is focused on psychiatric medication management, tailored to you:

  • Psychiatric evaluation and diagnosis

  • Medication management and ongoing monitoring

  • Pharmacogenomic (GeneSight) testing to help guide medication choices

  • Baseline labs to help rule out other medical causes

  • Coordination with your therapist and other providers

Whether you are facing something new or managing a long-term condition, we help you understand what is happening and find a plan that works.

Our Approach to Care

We treat the whole person, not just a diagnosis. Care begins with a thorough evaluation, including baseline labs to help rule out other medical causes, so the plan we build rests on a real understanding of you.

From there we find the right medication carefully, using tools like GeneSight testing, and adjust based on how you respond. You get direct access to your provider and short waits, in person or online, so getting care does not mean getting in line.

Meet Our Team

Our practice is led by Dr. Aminata Kamara, a board-certified psychiatric and family nurse practitioner (PMHNP), and our team is growing to bring more availability to North Dakota and Minnesota.

Whether you see us in person or online, you get direct access to your provider and care built around you, not a rotating cast of names.

Aminata Kamara, DNP, FNP, PMHNP-BC

I have been working with Aminata for at least 6 months now and she has gone above and beyond since day one! She is so thoughtful, kind and warm. She takes the time to explain all the different paths you can take, then helps you make an informed decision from there. She is one of the first care providers that has made me feel like my health is in MY hands and not someone else's. Ami makes me feel safe, heard and seen. I can confidently say that she is incredibly genuine and wants the best for her patients. I will be continuing care with her as long as possible. I would recommend her to anyone looking for medication management. 10/5 stars if I could!!
